At Wendell the Giant Dachshund, our mission is to inspire self-love, kindness, and confidence in children and families everywhere.
Wendell’s journey teaches us that the things that make us different are what make us truly special.
Through heartfelt storytelling, we encourage kids to embrace their uniqueness, treat others with kindness, and recognize their own value in the world.
What We Believe
✨ Everyone is Special – Just like Wendell, we all have unique traits that make us who we are. These differences are a blessing and should be embraced, not hidden!
💙 Kindness Matters – Words have power. That’s why we teach kids to Consider the Source of criticism, ignore negativity, and to uplift others instead.
🤝 Respect for All – Our 5-Second Rule of Kindness helps us to remember when we should point something out about others’ appearance vs when we should keep thoughts and comments to ourselves, and how to say things in a way that is kind.
